The CHERP Solar Developer Network is a formalized group of solar developers aimed at enhancing project development and delivery within the solar industry. This network is a response to the growing need for a more equitable solar model that prioritizes community benefit over profits for shareholders and foreign companies.
Bringing together industry leaders and visionaries, the CHERP Solar Developer Network formalizes a powerful alliance that drives solar projects, expands opportunities, and ensures that the benefits of clean energy stay within local communities, rather than flowing to corporate shareholders.
CHERP has historically attracted advisors and industry leaders who recognized the value and vision of Devon Hartman’s creation. This group consistently delivers new solar projects across the US that benefit even more from the CHERP model than the existing for-profit solar project model where the proceeds from solar sales end up in rich shareholders’ pockets or foreign companies’ coffers.
We decided to formalize the value this network brings to CHERP. We created the CHERP Solar Developer Network. Solar Developers have always been a vital component in project vision, creation, and delivery in the evolution of the Solar Industry. All we did was formalize this role with a CHERP value proposition.
Our valuable network of Solar Developers primarily brings solar projects to CHERP, which provides our lifeblood for panel sales, project development, and revenue generation. But much more valuable to everyone in the network is the inter-relationships these individuals share and expand as a group. CHERP appointed one internal manager to develop and enhance the scope and scale of the Solar Developer Network. Many of these people have never had the opportunity to meet others like them who have been providing project leads to CHERP, and when introduced, they mutually find expanded scope and scale projects that benefit everyone involved.

How Cherp Solar Developers help:
Project Development: The primary role of the Solar Developers in this network is to bring solar projects to CHERP. This flow of projects is crucial for panel sales, project development, and overall revenue generation for everyone involved in each project.
Collaboration and Networking: One of the most significant benefits of being part of the CHERP Solar Developer Network is the opportunity for collaboration. Members can connect with other professionals in the field, sharing leads and expanding their project scopes.
Enhanced Support: By formalizing this network, CHERP provides dedicated support through an appointed internal manager. This individual focuses on enhancing the network’s scope and scale, facilitating connections, and ensuring that members can leverage their relationships for mutual benefit.
The on-staff CHERP Solar Development Project Managers also support members who need project proposals, organization, management, and ongoing maintenance.

Benefits of Joining the Network
Access to Resources: Members gain access to CHERP’s resources, on-staff solar expertise, and industry intelligence which can help in streamlining project development and execution.
Shared Knowledge: The network allows for the sharing of best practices, innovative ideas, and industry insights, fostering a collaborative environment for growth.
Expanded Opportunities: By meeting other developers with similar goals, members can identify and pursue larger, more impactful projects that might not have been possible individually.
Supporting the CHERP mission: When you join the CHERP Solar Developers Network you are helping us create a more just transition
