Interim CEO

Interim CEO and Chief of Marketing, provides overall organizational leadership and develops and executes comprehensive marketing communication and sales plans to support CHERP’s objectives. He has 15 years of marketing and sales experience in solar installation, distribution and project development and spent several decades in marketing for technology companies of all sizes.

Megan Anderson

Chief of Workforce Development and Administration

Chief of Workforce Development and Administration, builds partnerships and programming with local workforce development organizations that will eventually send their program participants to CHERP for training and job placement opportunities. She has over 10 years experience in nonprofit program management.

Hi Howard

Senior Consultant

Senior Consultant, provides strategic leadership and program management support to CHERP. He has 35 years of experience leading, managing and consulting to nonprofit and for profit entities, including several in workforce development and adult education.

Jason Flejter

Chief of Manufacturing

Chief of Manufacturing, co-led the build out of CHERP’s first factory and will co-lead the process of replicating factories run by other nonprofits. He has 20 years of experience in manufacturing and factory management and is passionate about training front line workers in manufacturing leadership and life skills.

Jose Rios

Director of Technology & Operations

Director of Technology and Operations, manages all databases, spreadsheets and bookkeeping functions while supporting the technical side of panel sales. He has performed these functions for the last five years.

Jeff Cohen

Fractional CEO for CHERP Power

Helping to plan for the launch of CHERP Power which will be a California Benefit Corp. that: helps nonprofits to raising financing needed to build out their factories; develops national marketing alliances; generates large solar project opportunities for factory sales; and organizes joint material and equipment purchases with AMPS. He has worked in multiple leadership roles in various industries and started six companies. He has also advised over 300 business leaders in their company startup processes and business operations.

Mary Beierle

Senior Advisor

Senior Advisor, is our founder’s wife, and is helping ensure that his vision is carried forward by providing guidance, ideas, and connections. Mary worked by Devon’s side since CHERP’s inception and continues to represent their shared concern for our community and care of the Earth.  Emily works and consults in energy efficiency training programs in building science.

CHERP Team Members

CHERP has a large team of interns who perform a variety of roles - from sales, marketing and project management to financial forecasting, business planning and research. They have a variety of graduate degrees and professional backgrounds, which make them highly talented and productive team members.
